Well, it has been a while since I have last posted. Not a lot has happened in the last month or so, but a lot when it comes to writing it all out on a blog. :))
Graduation was pretty cool. We hung out a little afterwords and made hilarious videos that entire week at school and graduation. I am really glad I don't have to go back to school for a while, but summer is going by way to quickly. I am going to have to start hanging out with my friends more often.
We also graduated from going to NXTJHI at church to going to NXT Senior High. :D! On Sundays we have a short sermon and then discuss it with our table leader. We have the same leader for the entire summer and maybe a little bit longer. My table leader is Rob Gonzalez. He is awesome. Always tries to be there. A good mentor and example. We also do this thing called IDT (Intense Discipleship Training) every Wednesday from 4-9 and Every Sunday from 5-8. It is a lot of fun. We do daily homework and discuss stuff in different tracks. I am really enjoying it.
Two Fridays ago, my long-lost friend, Matt Nasui, came for a visit to Aurora from North Carolina, where he moved to about a year and a half ago. It was really nice to see him again. I saw him at the Showplace 16 theatre. He, Nick, and Luis had just finished watching the Incredible Hulk. I saw him as the were leaving because Eric, Kayde, and I were just arriving about to go see Get Smart (very funny!). I saw him again on Sunday at NXT. Everyone was happy to see him again. That night, Nick, Matt, and I went back to the Showplace to see the Love Guru (okayy) after IDT. It was fun just hanging with them.
Last Friday I slept over at Joey C's house with Evan. We rode around for about an hour on Joey's golf cart until Evan got there. Then we went to downtown Naperville for like 4 and a half hours just messing around and yelling at people and playing hilarious music in Barnes and Noble. So much fun. When we got back to Joey's house we mostly just hung out in his basement and watched hilarious videos and MADE hilarious videos to put on Youtube. Around 2:45 AM, we snuck. Yeah. Pretty cool. We had to get up the stairs, over the doggie gate, through the kitchen, into the garage, get Joey's 3 bikes, and then get out, closing the doors behind us. It took about 25 minutes to do. We had to be COMPLETELY quiet. ESPECIALLY in the garage because there is a vent leading directly to his parent's room so they can here every little click and creak in the garage from their bed. 0.o!! We rode down the street and down the bike-path and then back to his house and had to do everything all over again. :/. We went back downstairs and it was 4:00 AM. We got something to eat from his kitchen and some water from his basement's bar sink. We were all asleep by 5. We woke up at 10 exact. We talked and texted people for about 20 minutes and then his mom made Cinnamon rolls for us to eat, which didn't really do much to satisfy our hunger. We then went outside and rode the golf cart around. While Evan was driving, he pulled a sharp turn and I fell off at about 15 mph and hit the back of my head against the concrete. I got a big lump on my head and a headache for about an hour. I still have a very slightly raised spot that is very slightly sensitive to the touch, but other than that, I'm fine. I had to ice it with frozen peas because he had no ice. :X. Around 12 Evan had to go home because his mom couldn't pick him up any later. Me and Joey hung out in his basement for 2 hours just doing absolutely nothing. :)). Then we showered and biked to the nearby gas station and got some snacks and some stuff to drink. On the way back, we decided to ride around the sub-division that was next to the gas station. There was a hugge like ditch/field in the middle of a bunch of houses where there were 6 11-year-old kids playing. We decided to mess with them. My friend yelled at them and we biked halfway the ditch on the other side of the surrounding houses. Halfway down we stopped in between 2 of the houses and yelled again at them. We rode to the opposite side of where we were at the 1st time we yelled. We casually biked back to the 1st spot as if nothing ever happened. They obviously recognized us. They started screaming something at us and my friend acted like he FREAKED OUT! He was screaming and yelling at them going crazy. They immediately backed down. SOO hilarious!! We rode back to Joey's house and snacked a little and then got back on the golf cart. We drove past a little kid's birthday party and slammed on the brakes right in front of the party at least 6 times. When you slam on the brakes on that golf cart, it skids INSANELY LOUD!! Every time they immediately looked at us and then we calmly drove away. It started to rain really cold rain a little bit and got reallllyyy windy so we went back to Joey's house and grabbed an enormous beach umbrella and got back on the road. As you know, high winds and umbrellas don't mix, so the umbrella got twisted up so we drove past the birthday party again and going full speed with the wind pushing us along and slammed on the brakes as hard as we could. It was as loud as EVER! All the little kids were like, "Look, mommy! Their umbrella is messed up!!" We were laughing so hard. Then we went back to his house and his mom took me home. It was a lot of fun.
Sunday is went to church and then to IDT. Rob got sick from un-cooked meat. :(. Oh well. The speaker was really good, though. It was fun.
It is 9:55 Monday night and I haven't really done much at all today. Yesterday my dad won a brand new digital camera in an auction and I want to play with it but he won't mess with it until the weekend because he thinks it will take forever to set up, when it really isn't so. :P.
This draws an end to this post. I'll try to post a little more often with not as long posts, but don't count on it. ;]
Bye!!
